Goodwin’s Dual Plate Chrome C12 Range now in stock in the USA

We’ve just expanded our US stocklist with a valve that many of our customers have been asking about – the Goodwin Dual Plate Chrome C12 range.

It’s now available and ready to ship, in sizes from 2” to 12”, across three pressure classes – 150#, 300# and 600#. Construction varies slightly by size. From 2” to 10”, you get the BSR style – a lug, through-drilled design that’s straightforward to install between flanges and easy to service in place. The 12” moves to the BFR style, a double flanged design built for the larger bore.

Built for demanding service

The body is cast in C12, a chrome-moly alloy steel chosen because it holds up under high temperature and pressure. The plates are CA15 – a 13% chrome stainless that resists wear and corrosion far better than carbon steel. Metal-to-metal sealing comes from FHF hardfaced seats, and the springs are Inconel X-750, a nickel-chrome superalloy that shrugs off heat and aggressive media better than almost anything else.

Fully tested, fully traceable

Every valve in this range comes with a full suite of non-destructive examination as standard – PMI to confirm the material, radiographic testing (RT) to check the integrity of the castings, and magnetic particle examination (MPE) to pick up any surface or near-surface flaws.

Ready when you need it

If you’ve got a project in the US that needs a dependable dual plate check valve without the wait, please get in touch. We’ll be happy to talk you through sizing, pressure class and material options, and in most cases dispatch to you the same day.
